Long COVID Recovery Support in Stratford upon Avon
Important: The therapies offered at Revive Restore Repair are complementary — they are not treatments for Long COVID, nor are they a substitute for medical care. This page describes how our therapies may support wellbeing and recovery alongside your GP or specialist. Always consult your doctor before beginning any new therapy.
Your Journey Back to Normal
Long COVID doesn’t always show up on tests, but you feel it every day. Crushing fatigue that rest doesn’t fix, brain fog that makes simple tasks exhausting, breathlessness on stairs you used to run up, joint pain, disrupted sleep, and a nervous system that feels permanently on edge. Months after the initial infection, your body still hasn’t reset.
At Revive Restore Repair in Stratford-upon-Avon, we offer a range of complementary therapies that can support your recovery from Long COVID — working alongside your GP, not instead of them.
Therapies for Long COVID Recovery
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) delivers pure oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure, flooding your tissues with up to 15 times normal oxygen levels. For Long COVID clients, this can help address the persistent tissue-level oxygen deficit and microvascular damage that many researchers believe drives ongoing symptoms. Emerging evidence suggests HBOT may improve cognitive function, reduce fatigue, and support the body’s natural repair processes. All HBOT programmes begin with a consultation to ensure suitability.
Red Light Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to reduce inflammation, stimulate cellular energy production, and support tissue repair. For Long COVID clients, this can be particularly valuable for managing persistent fatigue, muscle pain, and the low-grade systemic inflammation that characterises post-viral syndromes. Sessions are non-invasive, painless, and take approximately 20 minutes.
Cryotherapy — whole-body cold therapy — can help manage persistent fatigue and support mood through its effects on anti-inflammatory pathways and endorphin release. It’s not appropriate for all recovery stages; we assess individual suitability carefully before recommending it.
Working Alongside Your Medical Team
We ask all Long COVID clients to share relevant medical history and, where possible, details of any ongoing investigations or specialist referrals. This isn’t a formality — it’s how we ensure your programme is genuinely safe and well-matched to your current symptoms and recovery stage.
If you’re unsure whether our therapies are right for you at this stage, book a free consultation. We’ll be honest about what we can and can’t offer, and we’ll never push a programme that isn’t appropriate for your circumstances.

A quiet space to start recovering
After months of GP appointments, blood tests, and being told everything looks “normal” when you know it isn’t — having somewhere that listens matters. Our clinic in the Warwickshire countryside is private, unhurried and completely separate from the clinical settings you’ve been used to. Come and see the space, talk through what you’re going through, and we’ll give you an honest view of how we can help. Your first consultation is free.

“I’d been struggling with Long COVID for over a year — constant fatigue, brain fog, couldn’t concentrate at work. After a course of HBOT sessions, I started to feel like myself again. The fog lifted, my energy came back, and I could actually think clearly for the first time in months.

Long COVID Recovery FAQs
What is Long COVID and how do your therapies help?
Long COVID — sometimes called post-COVID syndrome — refers to symptoms that persist for more than 12 weeks after the initial infection and can’t be explained by another diagnosis. Common symptoms include fatigue, brain fog, breathlessness, joint pain, and disrupted sleep. Our therapies work at a cellular level: HBOT increases tissue oxygenation, Red Light Therapy reduces inflammation and supports mitochondrial function, and Cryotherapy helps regulate the nervous system and immune response. We work with Long COVID clients — never as a substitute for medical care. All Long COVID clients undergo a detailed consultation, and we ensure our programme is appropriate for your symptoms and health status.
Can HBOT help with Long COVID brain fog and fatigue?
Emerging research suggests that HBOT can improve cognitive function and reduce fatigue in Long COVID patients. A peer-reviewed study published in Scientific Reports (2022) found significant improvements in attention, information processing speed, and global cognitive function after HBOT treatment. By delivering oxygen at increased pressure, HBOT may help address the microvascular damage and neuroinflammation thought to drive brain fog.
Is Red Light Therapy effective for Long COVID symptoms?
How many sessions will I need?
This depends entirely on your treatment history, current symptoms, and recovery goals. Some clients notice improvements within 5–10 sessions; others with more complex presentations may benefit from 20–40 sessions over several weeks. Others seek general recovery support and may begin with a shorter course. We design programmes around you, not a fixed package.
Do I need a GP referral to book?
A formal referral isn’t required to book a consultation, but we do ask Long COVID clients to share relevant medical history and any test results or specialist letters. This helps us design a safe, appropriate programme. This is for your safety. We’re happy to provide written information about our therapies to share with your medical team.
