Personal trainer Stratford-upon-Avon | Women’s strength, menopause & recovery
Because your body deserves a trainer who’s been there.
Abi is a personal trainer in Stratford-upon-Avon who doesn’t believe in generic plans, generic advice, or being told what you want to hear. At Revive Restore Repair, every programme is built around you — your history, your hormones, your surgery, your goals. Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, rebuilding after a hysterectomy, returning from injury, or training for competitive performance, Abi brings specialist knowledge and lived experience that generic fitness programmes simply cannot replicate.

Train with someone who knows your body
Every session is private, tailored, and built on where you actually are — not where a programme assumes you should be. Abi designs around your hormonal cycle, surgical history, recovery phase, or performance goals. You get a trainer whose only job, for that hour, is you.
Everything happens in a completely private studio — no audience, no pressure. Abi has 25+ years of experience and has worked through a hysterectomy recovery herself, which means she understands post-surgical training in a way no textbook can teach. She works with women over 40 who are tired of being told to “just move more,” rebuilding strength after major surgery, and competitive athletes who want a recovery-smart programme built around real physiology — not just a template.
Personal training at RRR isn’t sold separately from the rest of what this clinic does. If you want to stack your sessions with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, full body Cryotherapy, Red Light Therapy (photobiomodulation), or the Pelvic Floor chair — you can do that the same day, at the same location, as a deliberately designed recovery unit. No other personal trainer in Warwickshire offers that combination under one roof.
Who is personal training for?
Abi works with everyone who’s serious about getting stronger and feeling better. Her specialist experience means she’s particularly well-placed for clients that most PTs aren’t equipped to handle.
She’s been working in fitness and personal training for over 25 years. She’s even a competitive CrossFit athlete, a Hyrox competitor, and holds qualifications in personal training, nutrition coaching, and specialist women’s health and post-surgical exercise.
She’s also been through a hysterectomy. This point matters more than any certificate. When Abi talks to clients about rebuilding strength after surgery, managing body composition changes during menopause, or figuring out why training has suddenly stopped working the way it used to — she’s drawing on lived experience, not just clinical knowledge.
You’ll find that Abi’s approach is warm, but direct. She’s not going to tell you what you want to hear if what you need to hear is something different. But she will meet you exactly where you are, take your history seriously, and build a programme that accounts for your actual biology.
The Revive Restore Revive Advanced Wellness Studio is just outside Stratford-upon-Avon, completely private and the first consultation is free.
- Women navigating perimenopause or menopause — training designed around hormonal changes, not despite them
- Post-hysterectomy recovery — Abi has been through it herself; she knows what the timeline actually looks like
- Post-Surgery rehabilitation — joint replacements, abdominal surgery, anything that requires a graduated, careful return to movement
- Women over 40 who feel let down by generic fitness advice — if you’ve been told to “eat less, move more” and it’s not working, there’s a reason
- Athletes and performance clients — CrossFit, Hyrox, endurance training; Abi competes herself and understands performance demands
- Anyone who needs a private, no-pressure environment — the studio is yours for the session, always

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a personal trainer cost in Stratford-upon-Avon?
A single 1-to-1 session with Abi at RRR is priced competitively for the level of specialism you’re getting — 25+ years’ experience, a private studio, and genuine expertise in menopause, post-surgery, and women’s performance training. Our current pricing is: 4 sessions for £239.95, Nutrition Plan for £59.95, and Nutrition Plus for £199.95. For the most up-to-date session pricing or to discuss a bespoke package, book a free consultation first. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting and whether it’s the right fit before you commit to anything.
Can I do personal training if I’m recovering from surgery?
Yes — and this is one of Abi’s core specialisms. Post-surgical training requires a completely different approach to a standard programme: different load management, different recovery timelines, and genuine understanding of what your body has been through. Abi has worked with clients recovering from hysterectomies, joint replacements, and abdominal surgeries, and has navigated her own hysterectomy recovery. She’ll work with your surgical team’s guidance and adapt sessions as you progress. The private studio means no one watching, no rushing, and no pressure to perform before you’re ready.
What is personal training with HBOT recovery?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) accelerates recovery by flooding the body with oxygen at higher-than-normal pressure — which reduces inflammation, speeds tissue repair, and supports the kind of adaptation you want from training. At RRR, you can combine a 1-to-1 PT session with Abi followed by an HBOT session on the same day, at the same location, designed as a unit. This is particularly effective for clients recovering from surgery, managing chronic inflammation, or training at performance level. No other PT setup in the area offers this.
Is personal training suitable for women over 50 or post-menopause?
Not just suitable — it’s one of the most important things you can do. After menopause, oestrogen drops significantly, which affects bone density, muscle retention, recovery speed, and body composition. The training that worked in your 30s will work differently now, and that’s not a problem to manage — it’s a biology to understand. Abi has lived experience of menopause transitions and has trained many women over 50 and post-menopause. She builds programmes that account for hormonal reality, not generic fitness templates, including the right kind of resistance training, recovery spacing, and nutrition support to see real results.
What’s the difference between training with Abi and a gym PT?
Most gym PTs are generalists working on the gym floor with multiple clients, minimal privacy, and a standard programme library. Abi is a specialist working in a completely private studio with a single focus: you. She has advanced expertise in menopause-aware training, post-surgical recovery, and women’s performance over 40 — which the vast majority of gym PTs simply don’t have. She also integrates nutrition as standard, and can build your training plan around RRR’s therapy suite in a way no gym-based PT can offer. If you want someone to count your reps, a gym PT will do. If you want someone to understand why your body responds the way it does and train you accordingly, that’s a different conversation.
Does Abi work with post-hysterectomy clients?
Yes, and this is something Abi understands from the inside. She has been through a hysterectomy herself and rebuilt her own strength and fitness post-surgery — which means she knows exactly what the recovery timeline feels like, what “good days” and “hard days” look like, and how to progress safely without setbacks. Training after a hysterectomy requires careful attention to core rehabilitation, hormonal changes, and graduated load — Abi designs around all of it. Many of her clients have come to her specifically because they couldn’t find a PT who understood what they’d been through. Now they have one.
How many PT sessions do I need to see results?
Honest answer: it depends on your goal, your starting point, and how your body is responding. Most clients begin to notice meaningful changes in strength, energy, and body composition within 6–8 weeks of consistent sessions. For post-surgical clients, progress is measured differently at first — re-establishing safe movement, rebuilding core function, and restoring confidence — and that’s valuable even when the scale or strength numbers aren’t moving dramatically. Abi will be straight with you about what realistic progress looks like for your specific situation. She’d rather give you an honest timeline than sell you a 12-week promise.
Can I combine PT sessions with cryotherapy or HBOT at the same visit?
Yes — and this combination is something RRR is uniquely positioned to offer. Cryotherapy after a training session significantly reduces inflammation and accelerates muscle recovery, which means you recover faster and can train more effectively in subsequent sessions. HBOT pre- or post-training supports tissue repair and oxygen delivery to muscles. You can book PT + cryotherapy or PT + HBOT back-to-back on the same visit — Abi and the therapy team work together to sequence sessions appropriately for your goals. It’s available to all PT clients and doesn’t require a separate referral.
