Menopause Support in Stratford upon Avon
Important: The therapies offered at Revive Restore Repair are complementary — they are not treatments for menopause, nor are they a substitute for medical care. This page describes how our therapies may support wellbeing during the menopause transition. Always consult your GP before beginning any new therapy.
Your Journey Through Menopause
Menopause isn’t an illness — but it can feel like your body has turned against you. Hot flushes that strike without warning, brain fog that makes you doubt yourself, sleep that never quite refreshes, joint pain that appeared from nowhere, and anxiety that wasn’t there before. It’s not in your head. It’s hormonal, it’s physiological, and it deserves proper support.
At Revive Restore Repair in Stratford-upon-Avon, we offer a range of complementary therapies that can support you through the menopause transition — working alongside your GP and HRT if applicable, not instead of them.
Therapies for Menopause Support
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) delivers pure oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure, flooding your tissues with up to 15 times normal oxygen levels. For menopause clients, this can help address the fatigue, brain fog, and cognitive changes that many women experience during perimenopause and menopause. Emerging evidence suggests HBOT may improve cellular energy production, support collagen integrity, and reduce the systemic inflammation that can worsen menopausal symptoms. All HBOT programmes begin with a consultation to ensure suitability.
Red Light Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to reduce inflammation, stimulate cellular energy production, and support tissue repair. For menopause clients, this can be particularly valuable for managing joint pain, skin changes, fatigue, and the low-grade systemic inflammation that accompanies hormonal shifts. Sessions are non-invasive, painless, and take approximately 20 minutes.
Cryotherapy — whole-body cold therapy — can help manage menopausal fatigue and support mood through its effects on anti-inflammatory pathways and endorphin release. The cold exposure can also help with hot flushes and temperature regulation. We assess individual suitability carefully before recommending it.
Working Alongside Your GP
We ask all menopause clients to share relevant medical history, including whether you’re taking HRT or other medication. This isn’t a formality — it’s how we ensure your programme is genuinely safe and well-matched to your current symptoms and stage.
If you’re unsure whether our therapies are right for you at this stage, book a free consultation. We’ll be honest about what we can and can’t offer, and we’ll never push a programme that isn’t appropriate for your circumstances.

A quiet space just for you
Menopause can feel isolating — especially when symptoms affect your work, relationships, and confidence. Having somewhere that listens matters. Our clinic in the Warwickshire countryside is private, unhurried and completely separate from the clinical settings you’ve been used to. Come and see the space, talk through what you’re going through, and we’ll give you an honest view of how we can help. Your first consultation is free.

“I’d been struggling with brain fog, terrible sleep, and joint pain for months — I thought it was just stress. After a course of HBOT and Red Light sessions, the fog lifted, my sleep improved, and I actually felt like myself again.

Menopause Support FAQs
Are your therapies safe during or after menopause transition?
Our therapies are complementary and work alongside conventional menopause management including HRT. HBOT, Red Light Therapy, and Cryotherapy are not treatments for menopause itself — they help manage the symptoms. We work with perimenopausal and menopausal women to address fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, sleep disruption, and mood changes. All clients undergo a detailed consultation to ensure our programme is appropriate for your symptoms and health status.
Can HBOT help with menopausal brain fog and fatigue?
Emerging research suggests HBOT can improve cognitive function, reduce fatigue, and support cellular energy production. For menopausal brain fog specifically, the increased oxygen delivery may help address the reduced cerebral blood flow that some studies have linked to oestrogen decline. Many of our menopause clients report clearer thinking and improved energy after a course of HBOT sessions.
Is Red Light Therapy effective for menopause symptoms?
How many sessions will I need?
This depends entirely on your symptoms, their severity, and your goals. Some clients notice improvements in sleep and energy within 5–10 sessions. Others with more persistent brain fog or joint pain may benefit from 20–40 sessions over several weeks. We design programmes around you, not a fixed package.
Do I need a GP referral?
A formal referral isn’t required to book a consultation, but we do ask menopause clients to share relevant medical history including any HRT or medication. This is for your safety. We’re happy to provide written information about our therapies to share with your medical team.
